CFX File Cache — server.cfg Setup

Configure your FiveM server to use Nexus CFX File Cache.

Copy from client area

1. Open your CFX Cache service in the client area
2. Copy the pre-filled server.cfg snippet shown there
3. Paste it into your server.cfg
4. Restart the FiveM server (full restart, not just refresh)
5. Ask testers to reconnect

The snippet includes everything required — your cache URL, keys, and settings. Do not edit or reconstruct it manually unless support asks you to.

adhesive_cdnKey

Your snippet includes an adhesive_cdnKey. Keep it secret and do not remove it.

When you change resources, this key helps ensure players receive updated files. If players get stuck on "loading resources", confirm the snippet is still in server.cfg and restart the server.

After editing server.cfg

1. Save the file
2. Restart the FiveM server
3. If issues persist, use Clear edge cache in the client area, then restart again

If your server IP or file path changes, update your service in the client area or open a support ticket — we will refresh your cache settings for you.
