Nameservers & Pointing
Nameservers & pointing
Nameservers tell the internet where to load DNS for your domain. New Nexus Cloud domains use our nameservers by default.
Default nameservers
New domain orders use:
ns1.nexus-cloud.uk
ns2.nexus-cloud.uk
Leave these in place if the domain should resolve through Nexus.
Point a domain at Nexus hosting
- Open Domains in the client area.
- Select the domain → Nameservers.
- Use
ns1.nexus-cloud.ukandns2.nexus-cloud.ukunless your hosting service shows different nameservers. - Wait for DNS to propagate — often minutes, sometimes up to 24 hours.
If you ordered hosting and a domain together, nameservers are set at checkout.
DNS records
Use DNS Management on the domain page to add A, CNAME, MX, and TXT records. See DNS records for the full steps. If you moved nameservers to cPanel or another DNS host, manage records there instead.
Custom Connect / FiveM hostnames
Game-server connect hostnames (for example play codes) are a separate product. Changing a registered domain’s nameservers does not replace a Custom Connect Code. See Custom Connect Code in Documents if that is what you need.
