Register a domain

You can register a new domain from the Nexus Cloud storefront and manage it in the same client area as your hosting.

Search and buy

1. Go to Register a domain or use the search box on the homepage.
2. Enter the name you want (for example yourproject.com).
3. Choose an available extension and registration period.
4. Complete checkout with the same account and payment methods you use for hosting.

Starter extensions we sell: .com, .net, .org, .uk, .co.uk, and .io.

After purchase

• Registration is processed automatically after payment.
• The domain appears under Domains in the client area.
• You receive a confirmation email when the name is active.

.uk and .co.uk names ask for extra registrant details at checkout (required by Nominet). Use accurate contact information.

Use it with hosting

You can register a domain on its own, or add one while ordering web hosting. After it is active, point nameservers at your hosting if you want the site or server to use that name. See Nameservers & pointing.
