CFX File Cache — Purge & Limits

Manage edge cache size, purge stale content, and understand service limits.

Cache limit

Each customer has their own cache storage capped per plan. Heavy resource packs should be optimised; remove unused assets from your server files.

Clear edge cache

Use when players still download broken or old files after your origin recovered from a crash or after large resource updates.

From client area

1. Open your CFX Cache service
2. Click Clear edge cache now (or use the product actions menu)
3. Restart your FiveM server after purging
4. Ask players to reconnect

Cooldown: 120 seconds between purge actions per service.

Purging only clears the edge cache at cache.nexus-cloud.uk. It does not clear FiveM’s local cache on players’ PCs.

When to purge

• After replacing many resources without changing adhesive_cdnKey
• After origin server IP or path changes
• When players report stale downloads despite a correct server.cfg

Suspension & termination

• Suspended — cache zone is disabled; players may fail to download
• Terminated — zone is purged and deleted; update server.cfg to remove fileserver_add or service will break

Service status

Client area shows Status and your cache URL. Keep server.cfg aligned with the snippet shown there.
