Link Server & Invite Bot
Nexus Discord Bot — Link Server & Invite Bot
Connect your Discord server to your Nexus Bot subscription in three steps from the WHMCS client area.
Step 1 — Link your Discord server
- Open your Nexus Discord Bot service in the client area
- Click Link Discord Server
- Sign in with Discord and authorize Nexus
- Select the server where you have Administrator permission
- Confirm — the page shows linked with your guild ID
You can only link servers you administer. If the server is missing, check your role in Discord → Server Settings → Members.
Step 2 — Invite the bot
After linking:
- Click Invite Bot to Server in the client area
- Complete Discord’s authorization screen
- Ensure the bot has permissions for slash commands, channels, and roles it needs (defaults are pre-selected on the invite)
The client area shows bot is in your server when successful. Slash commands deploy automatically within about a minute.
Step 3 — Open the control panel
Click Open Control Panel to sign in at discord.nexus-cloud.uk with Discord OAuth. Your linked guild’s settings load in the panel.
Troubleshooting link / invite
| Issue | Fix |
|---|---|
| Link button does nothing | Allow pop-ups; try another browser |
| Server not in list | You need Administrator on that server |
| Bot invited but not ready | Wait 1–2 minutes; re-open the service page |
| Slash commands missing | Re-invite with applications.commands scope; kick and re-invite if needed |
Change linked server
Contact support if you need to move your subscription to a different guild. Unlinking may require a ticket to avoid orphaned configuration.
